Most of us think of tracksuits as something we climb into on a lazy day at home or when headed to the gym. But in the fast-growing world of brand marketing and more recently brand tracking, Tracksuit is the cool new kid turning heads.
Ivy league college counselling service Crimson Education has always aimed to be top of its class, and it's one of the successful companies backed by Icehouse Ventures Growth Fund I, which Simplicity invests in.
Companies are typically valued according to the valuation at their last capital raise and the achievement of milestones since that time. You can see our Private Equity Valuation Policy here, which includes a summary of how Icehouse Ventures values our startup investments that it manages for us.
This depends on many factors, including the quality of companies that startup, the overall economic environment, and the time period invested in. But given the higher risk nature of startup companies, it is reasonable to assume that many will fail and a few succeed very well.
That's why our philosophy is to invest in many different startup companies via Icehouse Ventures funds.
Icehouse funds invest in line with Simplicity's Responsible Investment Policy.
