Together, these five Kiwi charities received $150,000 bringing the total of financial commitments made by the charitable trust to more than $600k.
The donations are made possible by the allocation of 15% of the fees received by Simplicity's investment arm. The charitable model of the business was established at the time Simplicity NZ Ltd launched in 2016.
For a complete list of charitable donations, see our charities section here.
The Simplicity Charitable Trust supports activities that benefit New Zealanders, and NZ natural resources, at risk.
Proposals focused on education, public health and conservation are more likely to receive support. Overseas organizations and projects are ineligible.
