Is housing a human right? Sam Stubbs thinks it is. 

If we want shorter hospital waiting lists, fewer mental health issues, healthier and better educated kids, and a dignified retirement for all New Zealanders, all New Zealanders should all have an affordable place they can call home.

And while there are many other worthy uses of taxpayers’ dollars, the provision of affordable housing should remain the Government’s highest priority.
