Terms & Conditions
Consumer NZ Magazine Giveaway

These Terms & Conditions apply to the Simplicity Consumer NZ Magazine Giveaway (the “Giveaway”). By entering, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Promoter
The Promoter is Simplicity NZ Limited (“Simplicity”), Level 11, 5-7 Byron Avenue, Takapuna 0620.

 
2. Giveaway Period
The Giveaway opens on Friday 22 August 2025 and closes at 5:00pm NZDT, Friday 5 September 2025. Entries received outside this period will not be eligible.

3. Eligibility
Open to Simplicity members, who are New Zealand residents aged 18 or over.

Employees of Simplicity and their immediate families are not eligible.

4. How to Enter
To enter, email marketing@simplicity.kiwi and tell us the household item that has caused you the most grief (e.g. a leaky kettle or a dodgy dishwasher).

Only one entry per person.

No purchase is necessary to enter.

5. Prizes
10 one-year subscriptions to Consumer NZ magazine are available to be won. The one-year starts when the subscription is activated.

The prize must be redeemed within 3 months.

Winners will be drawn at random.

Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

6. Winner Selection & Notification
Winners will be drawn at random after the Giveaway closes.

Winners will be contacted by email within 7 days of the draw.

If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, Simplicity may redraw the prize.

7. Privacy
By entering, participants agree that Simplicity may collect and use their personal information for the purposes of administering the Giveaway and delivering the prize.

All personal information will be handled in accordance with Simplicity’s Privacy Policy.

Winners consent to their first name and regional location being published by Simplicity.

8. General Conditions
Simplicity may modify, suspend, or cancel the Giveaway at any time.

Simplicity’s decision on all matters relating to the Giveaway is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simplicity is not responsible for:

Any technical issues that may affect entry; or

Any loss, damage, or injury incurred as a result of accepting or using the prize.

10. Governing Law
The Giveaway is governed by the laws of New Zealand.
