These Terms & Conditions apply to the Simplicity Don’t Get Burnt by Fees Referral Campaign (the “Campaign”). By participating, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Promoter Details
The Promoter of this Campaign is Simplicity NZ Limited (“Simplicity”), located at Level 11, 5-7 Byron Avenue, Takapuna 0620.
2. Campaign Period
The Campaign begins on Thursday 13 February and ends at 11:59 PM NZDT on Tuesday 25 February (Eligibility Period). Entries received outside this period will not be eligible.
3. Eligibility
1. The Campaign is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 or over as at 13 February 2025 who are referred by a current member of the Simplicity KiwiSaver Scheme and/or Simplicity Investment Funds.
2. Employees of Simplicity and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.
3. Simplicity members are not eligible to win the $500 Prize Draw (however they are eligible to enter into the separate “Referrer” prize draw as per their member email).
4. How to Enter
To enter the Campaign, eligible participants must complete the following steps:
1. Follow the Referral Link provided by the Simplicity member.
2. Fill out their First Name, Last Name and Email details on the form provided via the Referral Link, and press ‘Enter the draw’ to submit their entry.
NB: Simplicity members making the Referral will also go into the draw for a separate prize. The Terms & Conditions for this prize draw will be laid out separately to these Terms & Conditions, and provided to the referring Simplicity member (the Referrer) accordingly.
5. Prize
1. The Prize is a $500.00 Prezzy Card.
2. The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.
3. Winners are responsible for any additional costs associated with claiming or using the prize.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
1. One winner who has completed the required Referral steps will be randomly drawn on Friday 28 February and contacted via email or phone within 7 days of the draw.
2. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 7 days, Simplicity reserves the right to redraw the prize.
3. Simplicity reserves the right to assess and or decline the validity of a winner’s participation in the prize draw, at its discretion.
7. Privacy & Data Collection
1. By participating in the Campaign, entrants agree to the collection, storage, and use of their personal information for the purpose of administering the Campaign and delivering the prize.
2. Simplicity will not collect or store the personal information of referred individuals unless they provide it voluntarily (e.g., by entering their email address).
3. All personal information will be handled in accordance with Simplicity’s Privacy Policy, available at https://simplicity.kiwi/privacy-policy.
4. The prize winner consents to Simplicity publishing their first name and regional location if results are announced.
8. General Conditions
1. Simplicity reserves the right to extend, cancel, modify, or suspend the Campaign or any aspect of it including altering the qualifying criteria, the prize or terms and conditions at any time. No claim may be made against Simplicity NZ Ltd or any of its agents and employees in connection with any such extension, change or cancellation.
2. Simplicity’s decision on all matters relating to the Campaign is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
3. By participating, entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Simplicity from any claim, loss, damage, or expense arising out of their participation in the Campaign.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simplicity is not responsible for:
1. Any technical issues or delays that may affect participation.
2. Any expenses, loss, damage, or injury incurred as a result of accepting or using the prize.
10. Governing Law
This Campaign is governed by the laws of New Zealand.
