Slip, Slop, Save

You know how to be sun smart, this year we want you to get KiwiSaver smart too!

A KiwiSaver plan that's simply better

Kia ora, heard of us? You may have caught us on your social feed, via a friend, or even met us at the beach over the summer! We're Simplicity, NZ's nonprofit KiwiSaver and Investment Fund manager. Founded in 2016 and now one of six default KiwiSaver providers, Simplicity's aim is to make Kiwis richer and smarter with money.

So what makes us so different?

Being a nonprofit KiwiSaver manager helps us keep fees really low, think long-term, and focus on what's best for our investors and New Zealand. 15% of our management fees go to the Simplicity Foundation, which supports deserving Kiwi charities, and we offer our members one of NZ's lowest floating rate first home mortgages. In a nutshell, we believe you can make money and do good!

Frequently asked questions

The annual fees on our KiwiSaver accounts simply have a 0.29% per annum management fee. This equates to $2.90 per $1000 that you have invested.

This fee is deducted at a daily rate and displayed on your online account in dollar figures.

As a nonprofit fund manager, our long term strategy is to drive these fees down as low as possible as we grow and have the economies of scale to do so. Simplicity NZ Ltd is 100% owned by The Simplicity Foundation and we give 15% of our fees to the Foundation, who distributes these funds to New Zealand charities.

Simplicity is NZ's nonprofit KiwiSaver manager, charging members low, low fees. The savings really add up. We call it the Simplicity Difference.

Use our KiwiSaver fee calculator to compare how much you're paying in fees to your current provider with Simplicity's fees.

Or use the KiwiSaver Fund Finder on sorted.org which helps you explore different fund types and compare fees across all providers.

If you're transferring from another KiwiSaver provider, your balance will show as zero until we receive the funds.

Your previous provider must transfer your funds within 10 working days, however it can take 1-2 working days to initiate this process and another 2-3 working days for Simplicity to process the funds upon receipt, so it could take up to 15 working days.

And it could take a further 5 working days if there's been a mismatch of information (such as a changed surname).

The main thing to understand is that, even if you can't see the money in your account yet, it's safe. If you have any concerns please get in touch at info@simplicity.kiwi.
